Went to Fredericksburg, TX for Thanksgiving. Stayed at a great inn in Llano and feasted at Austin E’s in Fredricksburg. A nice restaurant, but not as sumptuous as The Nest is in the same city.
Enjoyed meeting some new friends from Oklahoma at the inn. The inn itself was quite nice, quiet and semi-isolated.
An interesting comment we received from one of our readers was that the genre was too intense for her; she lost a relative in WW II. We enjoyed receiving all our readers’ comments; we’re sorry it brought back traumatic memories for her. On the other hand, another reader found herself praying for the characters. We that comment was very touching. We’re humbled that our readers find our characters so real.
Last week we received two inches of rain and look forward to receiving more this weekend. Although we’re still in a drought, some green is returning to our neighborhood.
